Draken - vintage news and promo flicks... This vintage 35mm Academy footage contains the promo reel about Draken, made for its opening in 1956. This is follwed by three Cinerama trailers for "Seven Wonders of the World", "Search for Paradise" and "South Sea Adventure" (1960/61) - all with hilarious Swedish narration. For all those of you that doesn't undestand my native tongue, I can promise that the narration is exactly so fifties as it sounds... The footage is helpfully improved a bit in 2013. But it origins from a 10 year old VHS-tape, shot on screen while projecting the 35mm academy reel by me and Magnus Elm during a session in Mölnlycke Kulturhus summer of 2003. We'll have to do it better one day ;-) Though the reel may be considered public-domain, it was a gift to me by SF way back.
