The
truck as seen from Anders' car on the highway near Malmö in Sweden.
A couple of months ago (April, 2004, ed.), while driving home from work in Malmo, Sweden,
my eyes nearly popped when I met a truck with a large CINERAMA logo on
its side. After coming to my senses, I realised that the logo didn't
actually read "CINERAMA". It rather read "DAGAB NARLIVS". (With DAGAB on
the left side flap where THIS IS used to be.) In English that would
loosely translate to "Neighbourhood Grocers".
Yesterday (July 2004, ed.) I passed a truck like that again on the highway, and I managed
to snap a photo with my cell phone. Here's that photo for you to enjoy.
I apologise for the bad quality of the photo, my cell phone was the
only camera I had readily available.
My guess is that the trucks come from a company called
Axfood
and I've mailed them asking for an explanation.

It must bee the old logo from the time
before "Axfood Närlivs". I started in 2001, when we change the company
profile. I have no idea who was behind the "Dagab Närlivs" logo. The
truck does not belong to us any more, and clearly, the logo was not
removed when we phased out the truck.
