SYNOPSIS
General Lathrop, a man with a violent obsession, seeks retribution for the
untimely death of his son by destroying the horse he believes is responsible
for his death. In the ensuing chase the General drags an entire cavalry
detail as well as a group of Comanche into his web. The Comanche believe the
animal is a spirithorse, a mystical creature they must protect at all costs!
Dedication: John Ford. Written By: Harry Carey Jr. Narrated
By: James Arness. Producers: Clyde Lucas And Fatali. Director
Of Photography: Fatali
I am so thrilled to be chosen by Clyde Lucas to become a partner filming
Comanche Stallion. This script was the legendary John Ford’s pet film
project, which never reached the screen. Comanche Stallion, based on the
novel by Tom Milstead, it’s the story of the Comanche’s search for a
mystical horse, while suffering the wrath of General Lathrop. Ford wanted
Burl Ives for the role of the general, but Ives’ health was not up to the
task, and Ford’s own health also failed.
Producer Clyde Lucas has been chosen to join his passion moving forward in
making Comanche Stallion into a reality. He sees the potential of this film
and how it should be made beautifully, and on film. I share this passion and
vision of Clyde. I have been seeking the right project to debut our large
format film company, Fatali Eye Productions. Filming Comanche Stallion will
give us the opportunity to bring back the craze for western cinema. We have
agreed to make this film in a widescreen format of Superama 65mm. This
format is suited very nicely for the landscape image and to do it justice.
My vision is to bring not only the story to life, but also the spirit of the
place once lived wild and free in beauty; a visual narrative going beyond
words inscribing into translations of light. ComancheStallion.com

ON A MISSION IN 70MM
I found my healing journey of spiritual and creative revolutions through
nature, soon after I lost my mother from cancer when I turned fourteen years
of age. Finding my voice in recording light, serves the purpose of telling
my story, sharing a message, and to leave footprints of inspiration for
generations to come. I ache for this story to be told on a heart level and
to be heard once again, as I believe its source comes from an ancient
language through the spirit of Earth meeting Heaven. Not spoken in tongue,
but felt through it's eternal love and healing connection, in a place where
we first came from, and where we will return once again.
A language of light, speaking from the heart of land and spirit, was not
learned overnight. I have walked, hiked, climbed, camped for decades, while
the entire time I was intimately engaging my relationship with nature,
listening, touching, feeling, slowly letter by letter, word by word, I have
come to learn a universal language that infuses nature’s physical beauty and
spiritual energy, beaming ancient scriptures spoken through light and
shadow. As God is the Author of these marvelous passages, we are blessed to
experience; I am honored to serve as a visual Narrator of this language. I
invite you to help me share this mission to others and together we will
spread the light! -Fatali
