Somerville Theatre announces the titles for its 4th Annual 70mm & Widescreen festival! Moved from September to May for 2019, this year's titles are a selection of fan favorites celebrating some of the biggest hits of film's biggest format!

The 4th Annual 70mm & Widescreen Film Festival comes to Somerville Theatre featuring big screen hits 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Dark Crystal, West Side Story, Dunkirk, Poltergeist, Remains of the Day, Casino Royale & It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Shows May 17-22, 2019

Muppet master Jim Henson’s beloved cult classic!

Synopsis: Jen (Stephen Garlick), raised by the noble race called the Mystics, has been told that he is the last survivor of his own race, the Gelflings. He sets out to try to find a shard of the dark crystal, a powerful gem that once provided balance to the universe. After the crystal was broken, the evil Skeksis used sinister means to gain control. Jen believes that he can repair the dark crystal and bring peace back to the world, if he can only find the remaining shard.

Twenty years after his employer's death, Stevens tries to reconnect with Miss Kenton (Emma Thompson), Darlington's head housekeeper, and begins to regret his loyalty to his former master.
