Right
outside its entrance, you'll find one of Lowell Thomas' stars on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame. Lowell Thomas actually has two stars on the walk,
one for his movie career, and the other for his work in radio. The symbol on
the star indicate which is which.

Those
large projection lenses are actually real second hand lenses that have been
used in 70mm cinemas, and quite heavy. Not your typical nicknacks. One can
be yours for $99.95. Why not buy a dozen?

Cinerama
camera #1 used to be on display in Bradford, but a few years ago it was
moved home to the U.S. Unlike later cameras, this model has the three
magazines mounted in parallell for easier dollying through narrow doorways.

John Sittig is the director of this festival, and it seems like he
does all the jobs by himself. He has produced the films and restorations, he changes the posters, runs the projectors, introduces the films, and
collects the tickets. I could swear that there must be more than one of him... :)
