The
following is a reference / historical listing of the 70-millimeter
engagements of Thats Entertainment Part II in North America. These were
the cinemas worth seeking out to experience this motion picture.
Thats Entertainment Part II was among four confirmed first-run films
released in 1976 with 70mm prints for selected engagements. The MGM
presentation (released thru United Artists) was a musical compilation film
with new sequences directed by Gene Kelly.
The 70mm prints of Thats Entertainment Part II featured six-track
stereophonic sound and full-frame and pillarboxed imagery blown up from a
combination of anamorphic and spherical 35mm.
