Originally
built in twenties by Pantages. Reopened 16.03.1961 as third
70mm house in Minneapolis with "Spartacus"
in 70mm. Screen 40 x 20 ft. Two DP70 with extreeme downward
projection angle each with two motors, ISCO 70mm lenses and
Ashcraft Cinex Special 35/70 lamps. Screen curve could be
changed. 6 x 40-watt power amps. Relaxing furniture of
contemporary Danish design was used in all lounges. The
costs were 350.000 dollars. |

One DP70. 1300 seats, built 1951 (unsure when the DP70 was installed). The Terrace closed in 2000 after being owned by Classic Cinemas of Minnesota and

One DP70. Installed in 1984 by United Artists. It was mated with a Xenex lamphouse and SPECO 35/70 platter. It was removed, in poor condition in May 1999, and was replaced with an XL for "Episode I" by Reading Entertainment of New York. This machine (nicknamed Tony) now sits in the basement of the Heights.
