Missing DP70 numbers

The 70mm Newsletter
Written by: Thomas Hauerslev, with a lot of help from many fans of the DP70 Date: 10.08.2019
The serial number is the small metal plate on the back of the mechanism between the two oil taps, or on earlier models, just above the shutter.

Missing DP70 numbers is a list of cinemas
with DP70s where the mechanism serial number haven't been recorded yet, or where plate is removed. Please take a look at the list. As soon as the mechanism numbers are added, the machines are moved to the regular lists.

The serial number is the small metal plate on the back of the mechanism between the two oil taps, or on earlier models, just above the shutter. Based on all the numbers found so far, it seems the lowest number is 0600, and the highest is 2532. The number plate changes location between machines: 1459+1473 (Original install: Palladium, Copenhagen, Denmark). On many machines found in the US, additional number plates have been added to the machines. Those, I assume, are Todd-AO Corporation numbers.

Feel free to send your information to me: Thomas Hauerslev
