"Oklahoma!"
opened mid June 1956 and played well into November 1956. The Patio became a bowling Alley. In 1967 Mr. Huack turned the Patio bowling
alley into a twin cinema, and named it the Panaroma - only 35mm equipment was
installed, one auditorium had magnetic sound.

that came from the Orpheum theater here in New Orleans, LA,
USA.
They are now installed in my private home theater and are
fully operational. They are outfitted with xenon lamps and
play through a Dolby CP100 with full sets of magnetic
pre-amps. Both of my machines are EL-4001, 120V 60Hz models
that use 1 motor with a belt arrangement to switch from 24
to 30 fps. The serial numbers are 2029 and 2027. And yes, I
did have the pleasure of running "Oklahoma!" in 30 fps 70MM
in my home!

My
screen is 6 x 12 feet.
I have a full set of lenses for both machines, 35MM
flat and scope, and 70MM flat. Someone recently gave me a
Cinerama lens for 70MM projection, but I have not had a
chance to try it out yet.
