The DP70 installation was done by Boston Light & Sound. They were rebuilt and modified at the BL&S shop in Boston, they contain modified Kinoton RSSD readers for analog and Dolby digital 35 and 70mm DTS installed in the head for a vintage look. 4 and 6 track mag on custom preamps by BL&S feeding a custom Q-Sys install and Dolby Cat. 360 NR units. Each machine has variable speed 16-30 fps. Refurbished strong ultra 80 lamps with new reflectors and new LP and associates power supplies and BLS water cooling kits. The magazines were modified to take film to and from a platter system while keeping the magazine in place. A lot of time and effort went into providing the latest capability with an original vintage look.

Btw, Paul Smith from D-Mation was hired by BLS as a local subcontractor to assist with the on-site portion of the installation but was representing BLS.
