Come,
fly with the daredevil "Bush Pilots" who challenged the forbidding reaches
of Canada's far North. Relive the exploits of pioneer airmen as they bring
lifesaving medicines to isolated hamlets, load passengers and mail, and
brave a frozen wilderness to reach the splendors of the North. Without
charts or radios, you will fly dangerous missions to ferry prospectors with
their sled dog teams and vital food supplies to the Eskimos of the high
Arctic. Experience for yourselves the feat of starting an air-plane engine
on subfreezing mornings, the anxiety of overloaded takeoffs, and the terror
of a near-disaster above the spectacular but dangerous falls of the Nahani
River.
